Orthodontic treatment is delivered by using a combination of fixed and removable orthodontic appliances.

Fixed appliances are bonded onto the teeth – the patient cannot remove them. The most commonly known fixed orthodontic appliance is BRACES. The system consists of brackets and arch-wires. Brackets remain on the teeth for the entire duration of the active orthodontic treatment. Arch-wires are adjusted or changed in every orthodontic visit.
