Admin Manager
Meet our admin manager, Mariia! Mariia joined the LOC family in the summer of 2021, and has committed herself to creating a harmonious and caring environment in the clinic. In 2013, Mariia moved to Canada from her home country Ukraine to pursue her education in hospitality. Now, Mariia takes great joy in using her skills here Leaside Orthodontic Centre, making every patient and staff member prioritized everyday.
When Mariia is not in the office, she enjoys exploring her talents in cooking, trying out new recipes and flavor profiles from around the world. Mariia always makes time for sharing good food, drinks and new experiences with friends and loved ones.
Savi
Patient Coordinator
Meet our patient coordinator, Savi! Savi brings a background in hospitality and many years of experience in customer service and front desk roles. Her education in hospitality has shaped her attentive, approachable manner and her commitment to helping patients feel comfortable from the moment they arrive at Leaside Orthodontic Centre.
Whether coordinating appointments, answering questions, or assisting with everyday needs, Savi enjoys making each visit easier for patients and their families. She values getting to know them and being someone they can turn to for support, while working alongside the team to create a welcoming experience.

Registered Dental Hygienist
Meet our hygienist, Andrea! Andrea is a highly skilled and experienced provider who shares her true passion for dentistry. Uncovering the marvel of orthodontics during her own childhood treatment, Andrea’s passions have since lied in improving and creating beautiful smiles. After becoming a certified Dentist in her home country, Colombia, she moved to Toronto and has been practicing as a dental Hygienist since 2002.
Andrea joined Leaside Orthodontic Centre in the Winter of 2020 — she instantly became an integral member of our family. Andrea uses her extensive experience and knowledge in the field to help people achieve beautiful results in their treatment everyday.
When Andrea is not in clinic, she enjoys spending quality time with her family. Together, they share a great passion for travelling, embarking on various family trips across the world and to their home country.
Sarvin
Registered Dental Hygienist
Meet our hygienist, Sarvin! Sarvin is a registered dental hygienist at Leaside Orthodontic Centre. Having strong passion for dentistry, she decided to study dental Hygiene at Canadian Institute of Dental Hygiene College. After years of experience in dentistry make her a gentle but efficient hygienist who is detail-oriented and very passionate about her work. In her free time, she spends her time with her family.

Registered Dental Hygienist
Meet our hygienist, Joan! Graduated from the University of Toronto with a major in Life Sciences, Joan became a registered dental hygienist, and has been dedicated to the dental industry for the past five years. For over two years now, She specialized in orthodontics. Joan's background in Life Sciences has provided a strong foundation in understanding the complexities of oral health, and her passion for patient care drives her to continually enhance her skills and knowledge. Committed to providing the highest level of care, she ensures that patients achieve optimal oral health and beautiful smiles.
Mahlet
Dental Assistant, CDA (Ortho) Level II
Meet Dr. Arat's assistant, Mahlet! With years of experience in the dental field and as a certified Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions Certification, I am a dedicated member of the team at Leaside Orthodontic Centre. My background in dental care allows me to provide valuable support to our orthodontists and help ensure our patients receive quality care. I am committed to creating a comfortable and welcoming environment and strive to help patients achieve their best smiles. My dedication to continuous learning helps me stay current with advancements in orthodontics, benefiting our patients with effective treatments.
Maggie
Dental Assistant, Level II
Meet Dr. Arat's assistant, Maggie! Maggie began her journey in dentistry as a dental assistant in 2017. With nine years of experience, she is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and creating a positive, comfortable experience for every patient. She is always eager to grow professionally, learn new techniques, and expand her knowledge in orthodontics. One of the most rewarding parts of her work is seeing patients’ final records and witnessing the incredible transformations achieved through their orthodontic journeys.
Outside of the office, Maggie enjoys staying active at the gym, spending quality time with her beautiful family and close friends, and exploring the outdoors. She loves nature, discovering new places, and creating memorable experiences.
Noor
Dental Assistant
Meet Dr. Arat's assistant, Noor! Noor is a dental assistant with seven years of experience and HARP certification. She takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and cared for, with close attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe environment. Noor enjoys working with Dr. Arat and the team to create a positive, welcoming atmosphere.
Outside of work, Noor enjoys practicing yoga, café hopping, exploring lakes and waterfalls, visiting museums and castles, and occasionally writing short stories. She also values giving back to her community through volunteering, particularly in nature conservation and supporting seniors.
