What to do if a bracket gets loose

Eating hard and chewy foods could cause your braces to come off. If it is still attached to the wire, it may move side to side; or spin around the wire. A piece of orthodontic wax could be used to prevent it from moving. It may cause mild discomfort and will prolong your overall treatment duration. We advise our patients to schedule an earlier appointment to repair the broken braces.
